Port Townsend, Washington, a historic Victorian seaport, is a about 2-1/2 hours from Seattle/SeaTac Airport. There are several modes of transportation and routes to take to get to Port Townsend, see below for some options. 

Getting to/from SeaTac Airport:

DRIVING: Driving to/from SeaTac is about 2-2.5 hours, depending on route, ferry schedules, and traffic. You can rent a car at the airport; we recommend for the best prices on car rentals.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: To/from SeaTac is about 3-3.5 hours via bus line or shuttle:

DUNGENESS LINE: Daily bus service to Port Townsend, (360) 417-0700 or Toll Free (800) 457-4492; for reservations: book online at least 12 hours in advance. Traveling from SeaTac, you will need to ARRIVE at the airport BY NOON (to catch the 12:45 pm. shuttle) — arriving in Port Townsend’s park-n-ride at 4:05 pm. Or, arrive at SeaTac by 6:00 pm. and take the 6:40 pm. shuttle — arriving in PT at 10:00 pm. Depending on time of day and your final destination, from the park-n-ride you may take a bus, PTeRider, cab, (Peninsula Taxi: (360) 385-1872) to your lodging.

ROCKET TRANSPORT: This shuttle is DOOR to DOOR to/from SeaTac Airport, (877) 697-6258. Port Townsend is in East Jefferson County (for reference to their rate page). This shuttle will pick you up at the airport and deliver you to your destination. It is a little more expensive then the Olympic Shuttle, but will suit your individual schedule. Rates vary.
